Rebranding to Siemens Software

Brightly is now Siemens. Same world-class software, new look and feel.

 

From v22.10, the Confirm product suite has been rebranded to align with Siemens.

 

This update introduces Siemens branding across the application, replacing previous Brightly Software branding within customer-facing screens and supporting documentation.

 

The support email displayed in help documentation reflects the new Siemens address for the Support Team.

As part of this transition, support contact information has also been updated, and help documentation now reflects the Siemens Support Team email address.

 

This rebranding does not affect product functionality and is intended to provide a consistent experience across the Siemens Confirm software offerings.

 

Confirm v26.1 and ConfirmConnect™

v26.1 – OnDemand US Production and Test Complete

We are delighted to announce that the latest release of our industry leading Enterprise Asset Management solution, Confirm® is now available in the OnDemand Production and Test Environments.

 

The enhancements since the last release include:

 

Streamlined Web Operations (Confirm Web Interface)

We've significantly expanded the capabilities available directly in the Confirm web interface, reducing the need to switch applications and boosting your productivity:

  • Improved Web Navigation: Users can navigate large data sets more easily with clearer pagination controls on the search results in the Confirm Web interface, enabling faster review and more accurate data handling.

  • Enhanced Data Descriptions: Users can store longer, more descriptive operational attribute names and values, improving data clarity and consistency across teams.

  • Batch Payment Processing Preview: Users can preview batch payment checks and authorisations, improving accuracy and confidence before payments are created.

  • Web Based User Administration: Users can manage users, reset preferences, generate API keys, and copy permissions, simplifying day to day administration.

  • Clearer Defect Context: Users can clearly see Defect type descriptions and references on Defect screens, reducing errors and improving understanding during review.

  • Web First Asset & Regime Management: Users can create Enquiries, Defects, Jobs, and manage regimes directly from the Feature screen, improving efficiency and supporting Web first workflows.

  • Enhanced Reporting Drill Down: Users can drill from dashboards directly into Orders, Payments, Inspections, and Street Works, enabling quicker access to detailed operational insight.

  • Meter Based Maintenance Support: Users can now perform maintenance activities based on meter based and time/meter based readings, improving scheduling accuracy and reducing manual effort.

  • Reusable Comment Library: Users can insert pre defined comments when creating Enquiries, enabling faster responses and more consistent customer communications.

  • Inspection Route Editing in Web: Users can add, edit, and remove Inspection Route Features, reducing reliance on legacy tools and speeding up inspection setup.

  • Refined Enquiry Prioritisation: Users can filter Enquiries by outstanding or completed status, allowing quicker prioritisation of work and improved service responsiveness.

  • Order Management in Web: Users can create and manage Job Orders entirely in the Confirm web interface, including Job associations, enabling simpler maintenance planning without switching systems.

 

Empowering Field Teams with ConfirmConnect

For our colleagues in the field, ConfirmConnect gets even smarter:

  • Smarter Mobile Mapping: Users benefit from automatic map refresh and spatial search in ConfirmConnect, enabling faster and more reliable visibility of nearby work while on the move.

  • Improved Defect Identification: Users can view Defect numbers directly in lists and on map icons in ConfirmConnect, supporting faster and more accurate Defect selection.

  • Faster Defect Creation: Users can create new Defects more quickly via a prominent Add Defect action in ConfirmConnect, reducing time on site and streamlining inspection workflows.

  • Job Completion Visibility on Maps: Users can see Job completion dates directly in map searches within ConfirmConnect, improving visibility of completed work and reducing duplicate actions.

  • Enhanced Document & Photo Viewing: Users can view linked documents and larger photo previews at a glance in ConfirmConnect, improving situational awareness with less navigation effort.

  • Clearer Mobile Settings Navigation: Users can manage preferences more easily with clearly separated Settings and About pages in ConfirmConnect, reducing confusion and simplifying configuration.

  • Accurate Asset Geometry in Surveys: Users can view precise asset geometries during Route Surveys in ConfirmConnect, enabling more accurate inspections and higher confidence in recorded data.

  • Inline Defect Creation During Surveys: Users can create and complete Defects without leaving the survey screen in ConfirmConnect, resulting in faster inspections and improved data completeness.

  • Cleaner Defect Data on Supersede: Users automatically retain only relevant attributes when Defect types change in ConfirmConnect, ensuring higher data quality and more reliable reporting.

  • Integration & Compliance with Street Manager

  • Prevents duplicate non-compliance records by prompting users to link existing NCs when creating new inspections for the same permit. This improves data consistency between Confirm and Street Manager, reducing rework and mitigating compliance risks.

  • Streamlining multi trench Permit processing by generating a single inspection and non compliance record, reducing duplication and simplifying data management. This ensures alignment with Street Manager workflows, improving data accuracy, reporting, and compliance.
